About Us

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

A hidden gem in Wolverhampton we take you back in time in the history of local transport. Here you can go back in time and discover artifacts going back to the early days of steam engines, motorcycles, road transport, cycles and much much more. There is a working model layout of Tettenhall station as it was, cockpits of long forgotten aircraft that you can sit in and rare examples of vehicles that you never knew existed.

The museum is run entirely by volunteers and admission is free, however we do rely on donations so if you do feel like donating, however small, it will be gratefully received

We are open Thurs, Saturday and Sunday. 10am-4pm

We are a charity based in Tettenhall, dedicated to the preservation of all things transport from the Wolverhampton area.

The centre does not charge for entry and relies on the goodwill of its volunteers and donations from visitors.

It is our aim to be forever a 'free to enter' educational space, so we have to keep a tight rein on our expenditure.

Unfortunately, the roller shutter door on the front of our building has suffered a catastrophic failure and requires extensive repairs.

we are looking for help with the cost of repairs and would welcome donations of any value, large or small, to get us get our door rolling again.
