OUR MISSION

Preserve and Share

At Tettenhall Transport Heritage Centre, our mission is to preserve and share the history of transport in our community. We aim to educate and inspire visitors about the transportation developments that shaped our region.

The museum is entirely dependent on donations and all staff are volunteers so please, if you have some spare change, throw it in one of the buckets that are situated around the site, it would be gratefully received.

Our Story

The Tettenhall Transport Heritage Centre is dedicated to the preservation of transport history. Our exhibits showcase the achievements and innovations that have marked our community. Through a variety of programs and events, we aim to engage visitors of all ages, offering a glimpse into the pivotal role transport has played in our town's development.

We also have a shop on site where we sell books, models pictures etc both new and second hand. All money goes towards the upkeep of the museum

Latest News

We are a charity based in Tettenhall, dedicated to the preservation of all things transport from the Wolverhampton area.

The centre does not charge for entry and relies on the goodwill of its volunteers and donations from visitors.

It is our aim to be forever a 'free to enter' educational space, so we have to keep a tight rein on our expenditure.

Unfortunately, the roller shutter door on the front of our building has suffered a catastrophic failure and requires extensive repairs.

we are looking for help with the cost of repairs and would welcome donations of any value, large or small, to get us get our door rolling again.
